I have relieved Graham for my first sunrise watch of the trip. There is still fog. Tom the Younger is currently getting ready to join me. During Graham’s watch we rounded Cape Mendocino. He said it was smooth and easy. Even the wave action cooperated and he got following seas. So we made a good choice to continue to Ft. Bragg instead of stopping in Crescent City. Once we reach Ft. Bragg we will wait out some heavy weather forecasted around San Francisco. Ft. Bragg is a single day from San Francisco. So we will be well positioned to take advantage of an opening. Maybe this weekend.
There is a lone vessel out here with us that I can see. It’s light pierces the fog shroud. Its comforting. -Karri
