We spent the last day with our first crew member checking out the Coastal Redwoods yesterday. We rented a car and drove from Ft. Bragg, along the Avenue of Giants, and through Humboldt Redwoods State Park to Eureka. The amazingly tall trees did not disappoint. Then after some tasty beer and dinner at Lost Coast Brewery Uncle Tom got in his rental car and headed north to home.
We couldn’t have asked for a better first crew. He came with an enthusiasm for adventure, learning, and cheerful can do attitude. I am so grateful we got to spend two weeks with him and the kids got to know their grand uncle better.
