Adventure: ad•ven•ture, noun – an unusual and exciting, typically hazardous, experience or activity. Synonyms include: escapade, deed, feat, trial, and experience.
The last two days of walking around San Francisco I am reminded why we adventure. Excitement, learn new things, fun and thrills.
We often adventure for a specific experience. To do or or see something particular. Yet it is the unlooked for adventure that is sometimes the most amazing. The happenstance of a curious road, the serendipity of flowers in winter, the spontaneous beauty of life, and the dynamic artistry of people.
You don’t have to go far from home for adventure. Find it at home in the bonding of parent and child, the strange dish at a restaurant, or the clouds whipping through a blue sky as you walk a new trail.
As we go far to seek our adventures I wish you fair winds as you find your own.
