Happy Halloween!

Hello San Diego! We’re back, and this time in our own boat. This is where we came to learn how to sail and get our ASA certs. We have come a long way since Feb 2016.

We are snug as a bug... in Avalon at Catalina Island. Pulsar’s first mooring ball. We’re here for a bit before heading to San Diego.

We are at the King Harbor Yacht Club utilizing our reciprocal privileges. This morning we came out to find this across the entrance. We could squeak by it, but why?

Look! A set of 4, 9 inch diameter continuous loops out of 1/4 inch dyneema. Used a locked brummel splice.

Hello Redondo Beach.

Any one else up at 2am with me? We are buddy boating with SV Katmandu to Redondo Beach. Santa Barbara was cute with good beer for the short time we were there. But when uncomfortable weather is rolling in it’s time to weigh anchor.
