Have you ever heard that song? It’s me again Margaret is a weird song I grew up with about a stalker. And thankfully the song is tongue in cheek and sung with a decidedly creepy voice. The same artist had one about a guy who streaks, “he likes to show off his physique.” Along with a song about a squirrel that gets taken to church and runs up peoples pants and dresses. If you are not familiar with this, I insist you go look it up and have a listen.
We are on our way to Santa Barbara. We left Morro Bay around 2:30pm. Rounding another point tonight, Point Conception. What little wind there is, is behind us and tends to blow bits of exhaust into the cockpit. It’s the worst part of motoring downwind.
It is almost the full moon. So the moon is of course very bright. And the is no cloud cover, so we are getting the full effect. Downside, can’t see the stars very well. But I can see the lights if the coast. It is 11pm and I am on until 1am. Tom and Graham were on from 7-10pm. They got dolphins at the bow! So far just moonlight and vessel traffic for me. Fingers crossed for dolphins.
