I wonder if I will ever feel like I have a handle on passage making. I haven’t been very good at meal planning or provisioning yet. With all the other stuff going on, this one is escaping me.
On land life, I was the planner. Want to organize a party, I’m your gal. Organize a vacation, sure thing. Plan and execute on work projects, covered. Write up a meal plan for the week, shop for groceries, yep.
But now planning feels so much more difficult. Everything also seems so much more immediate and shifting that planning is hard. However, some things still need a plan. I recall a blog post about intentions instead of plans, but I’m pretty sure that doesn’t apply to provisioning for your trip. This is also going to be critical when it comes time for the Puddle Jump to the Marquesas. I guess I still have time to dial this in.
Our fridge stopped working for a bit and we lost a bunch of food. The fridge is now working again fixing itself after being turned off for a while. So yeah for that.
Still, we left for Isla Isabel/La Cruz. Aren’t sure which we are going to yet. If the weather is good we’ll stop at Isla Isabel to explore. If not, we’ll divert to La Cruz.
See, it’s a plan or an intention, but it’s not definite. And right now, it is breaking this planning girl’s brain.
