Swimming in the ocean

Mon Dec 09 2019 14:35:00 GMT-0800 (Pacific Standard Time)

The day has been calm and lazy. We’re slowly motor sailing to Isla Isabela. The weather predictions are holding steady, so we are going to try and stop. We don’t want to arrive until morning light, so we are keeping low speeds, 5 knots.

This morning we caught our first yellow fin tuna. It was THIIISSS big. Actually, 2 feet long, lovely size, so sushi soon.

Our fridge is still being wonky. This morning it was at 29 degrees, now it is at 37. Not good. It is having trouble regulating temp. Sigh

We stopped for an hour, turned off the engine and took a swim in the ocean! So much fun. Super clear water, warm, and calm. We could see the boat keel crystal clear. Another cruiser item, swim in warm ocean at unknown depths.
