It’s been a little while, but July 14, 2020 was our 1 year cruising anniversary. Our Cruisiversary.
July 14, 2019 we left the dock in Shilshole Marina Seattle and anchored in Liberty Bay Poulsbo, WA.
The year has been filled with adventure, quitting our jobs, friends, family, civil unrest, a pandemic, homeschooling, and Mexico.
It is not the year I imagined it would be. But it was a full good year.
We are kicking our second year off in style with new friends, good food, a plethora of injuries (sting ray stings, 2nd degree burns, cracked/bruised ribs), Baja summer heat, chubascos, bees, and beautiful desert landscapes.
We look forward to a future of unknowns as major elections loom, the Covid-19 pandemic shows few signs of slowing in the US, and civil unrest continues. We work toward a better future without yearning for the imperfect yesterday.
