So we hopped from Santo Domingo (at the top of Bahia Concepcion) south to Playa Santispac. After anchoring we dinghied over to some small islands with our buddy boat Pablo and snorkeled. I wouldn’t call the snorkeling amazing, but it was nice. And importantly it was in the water to help cool us off. However, about half the time the water felt like I was in a hot tub. Not exactly the effect I was looking for, but still. While snorkeling I did see an octopus. It was a highlight of the expedition.
