Last big multi day push to finish the majority of painting the boat. We have the vast majority of barrier coat and Coppercoat on Pulsar! Still a LOT of work to do, but this is a major milestone. We couldn’t have done it without the best of boat neighbors Saltymatey.

Testing alignment with a new mid-bearing at the top of the rudder. Local machine shop customized a chunk of Delrin for us. It fits pretty well. Next up is to replace the rudder heel bearing/shoe (lower in this picture).

Today began a three day bottom painting extravaganza….
Today began a three day bottom painting extravaganza. We (Pulsar and Pablo) rolled the first 3 layers of CK426 on the starboard side of Pulsar. Tomorrow, we roll another 1 or 2 coats and will roll Coppercoat on half a boat. Saturday, Coppercoat goes on 1/2 of the second boat. A peek into the future …
