After an epic lightning and thunder show last night, we got up and left the Phoenix area this morning to grab food and head to the Grand Canyon. As we left the metro area behind the temperature has dropped. It is a welcome respite. Currently it is 79F and oh man is it lovely. We took the scenic byway through Sedona to Flagstaff and the red rock buttes are fabulous. There are TREES 🌲 the air smells so wonderful.
