So we began leg 2 of our road trip yesterday. We left Boise and decided we would head towards John Day, OR via Baker City. We took a few detours stopping at Sumpter to see the old gold dredge and ended up staying at Strawberry campground.
Our final night in this first leg of our rip was spent at Montpelier Canyon Campground were we spotted this little guy. Also, we put truth to our streak of being rained on EVERY night once we left Mexico. 😂

How can you cover all the wonders of Yellowstone National Park? We lucked out with two nights of very last minute reservations and stayed in north Yellowstone at Mammoth Campgrounds.
We got lucky and got a night in Teton National Park. We drove through on our way in and out of Yellowstone. It is so beautiful.
