Today was a lovely day filled with beauty, family, and friends. I sit remembering camping with my family as a child. We used my dad’s sparkly green truck as a camper. We used to hunt mushrooms with him. My father died at home two days ago. While they have been heavy days of sadness, his suffering is over and I can peacefully remember him in all aspects. He was a good father and grandfather and will be missed by us all.
So here we are in Sequim State Park camping for a night. It seems a fitting tribute. Kirsten is finishing the tent set up, Graham is reading, and I am posting and enjoying the sounds of the evening. ❤️ Karri
