Since I had a night watch. We are on our way from Banderas Bay where we anchored for 4 months. We did so much during that time, and yet sometimes it feels like not enough. It is good to be moving Pulsar again. We got a bit of good wind this afternoon to push us northwest away from the bay. But now and for the past several hours we are motoring in dead calm. The ocean swell is a series of big gentle rolls and the moon, a few days after full, is so bright it washes out the stars and most of the bioluminescence. I can see Pablo’s lights out in the distance and we are passing the Tres Marias. The Three Marias used to be prison islands. Now they have been turned into biological sanctuaries. Only select tour boats can take people. The Mexican navy patrols these islands well.
