Day 15

Today was an exceptional fishing day on Pulsar. Effortlessly we landed at least 14 flying fish on deck. It was our biggest day yet.

They really are pretty; flying fish with their skin of multihued iridescent blues, finely boned fins, and large luminous eyes. I love watching them skip and fly across the waves.

We estimate another 5 days at sea before we reach Nuku Hiva. Today was chill sailing. We turned upwind instead of a beam reach and Pulsar went from a pendulum to a steady blade cutting the water. She really is very comfortable upwind.

Dinner tonight was hamburgers on the grill. MMM. Such a treat.
