This has been a strange passage so far. Started with pretty light winds, even used the spinnaker. Then the squalls showed up and the wet settled in. The last two days have been a deluge of rain and heavy winds. Top wind speed so far was 46 knots apparent.
Everything is wet. We heeled so far over that the sink in the forward head flooded with seawater. Gallons of seawater, soaking that up took ALL our towels. Meanwhile itβs raining, so no drying anything out. Cushions are wet, shorts are wet, towels are wet, I feel water logged.
We finally got a break. The wind died down and the rain stopped, but it is still over cast. Everything is slowly drying out. Graham is napping and I am monitoring the water making while we motor along.
