S/V Pulsar

We’ve been in Sidney the last week and it has been lovely. Today we took the bus and toured Victoria. Tomorrow we are off to anchor in Ganges Harbour at Salt Spring Island.

Hello Port Townsend

Left Liberty Bay early this morning in the rain and fog. Quick stop at Shilshole for some mail and now we are Port Townsend bound. No wind; expecting a day of motoring. Weather permitting Canada tomorrow.

Anchored in our first blow. Gusting around 30 kts all night long plus into the morning. We really sail (swerve around the anchor point) at anchor in higher winds…need to work on that.

Woke up to an overturned kayak. Any guesses as to why?

Morning after: This is what happens to your salon when you haven’t installed your watermaker, but you need your shower back because you didn’t have time for one last one at the marina you just left.

We did it!! We got out of the marina. We got off the dock. We cut the dock lines. It was crazy. It was stressful. It was NOT the most enjoyable week.
